Bridge Over Troubled Water Lyrics
When you're weary, feeling small
When tears are in your eyes,
I will dry them all
I'm on your side
When times get rough
And friends just can't be found
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
When you're down and out
When you're on the street
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you
I'll take your part
When darkness comes
And pain is all around
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down
Sail on silver girl
Sail on by
Your time has come to shine
All your dreams are on their way
See how they shine
When you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind |

Oh I have loved this song (Bridge over troubled water) for many years I first heard it sung by Simon & Garfunkel in the seventies But Rhydian just makes it even more special his is the best version I have heard |

This song is wonderful. It has a very special meaning for me as my late father loved it ( original sung by Simon and Garfunkel).I never thought that anyone could sing it better BUT when Rhydian sung it on XFactor it
felt like it was the first time I'd ever heard it!
He seemed to make it sound magical with his amazing voice.
I really hope that he puts it on an album. _________________ RHYDIAN....2008....BELIEVE !!!! |

I hope so too Barbara, but I don't think he will for some reason. It makes me sad to think that I may never see him perform it live I really like it. I've always liked the original too but like you said, Rhyd made it even more special. |

Wow Lexi b that is a coincidence Bridge over troubled waters was one of my late fathers favourites he loved Simon and Garfunkel. It does bring back some really special memories for me.
Im sure my Dad would have loved Rhydian, as a young man he was a good friend of David Whitfield and adored classical music |
